The day started getting brighter.

Waiting for potatoes and thin cut pork chops
Remnants of the year's decorations
basking under a cardboard sun
The evening sky
blue and purple; orange and lemon

The township wanted yellow lights
The man with the mustache wanted a luxurious one
A path that we named
Apaththrutown
Racing to the fence line
They are hard charging doggies.
They asked for the keys to open the trunk
So what could we say but, "U got it".
